Virgin Mobile Vs Ringtone Sites

I have had my Virgin Mobile phone for quite a while and I am quite satisfied with what it has to offer. The only thing I am really displeased with is that when it comes to other sites and purchasing there ring tones it will never work. The only way you can get ring tones for a Virgin Mobile phone is to download it from there own site. To be honest that’s kind of "lame." Why would they do that? So that they can get more money I had assumed. It really made me think....why should I have bought this phone if the company was going to be so anal about ring tones. All I wanted to do was buy some ring tones for a little less than the virgin mobile site was offering but that’s not possible. I'm sure other people have spent hours, "such as myself" trying to find out a way to add ring tones to a virgin mobile phone without the use of there site. I even purchased a 20$ yearly plan to a ring tone website so that I could get the ring tones I had desired but the outcome was always the same. Now I want a response from you guys. Do you think Virgin Mobile should let there customers purchase other ring tones from different sites? Thanks for reading.
